The Philosophy of Avengers: Age of Ultron
Technology
Avengers: Age of Ultron is your typical sci-fi cautionary tale of science run amok. Tony Stark is a materialistic technocrat who meddles where man is not meant to and creates Ultron. Stark means well but has to face the unpredictable effects of his own technological innovation. In the comicbook storyline Age of Ultron (not to be confused with this movie) Wolverine goes back in time and kills Ultron's creator (who in the comics was Hank Pym), kinda like Terminator 2 and the Days of Future Past storyline. The outcome is that Morgana has become a threat through magic. The moral of the story is that while technology may be dangerous,
Panantheism
Avatar’s Na’Vi subscribe to a combination of pantheism and theism, a view scholars today call “pantheism.”
The Na'Vi have an experience of unity of consciousness with other beings, all of which are really just manifestations of one being, which they call Ai'wa. Sounds like something mystics on Earth would claim to have. However, unlike Earth-bound mystics, the Na’Vi have a convenient plug, attached to their bodies, which physically unites them to other beings (such as steeds, winged or otherwise) and to Aiwa Herself/Itself.
In Na’Vi mythology, what’s really happening is the Ai’Wa

The Philosophy of Attack on Titan
The show is a fictionalised version of Nazi sympathiser Carl Schmitt's philosophy on how society functions and should run.
It is not specified where the show takes place but its filled with German architecture, German war cries and characters with German names. The similarities with German history don't stop there. The political ideology lines up with Carl Schmitt. Conflict, division and inequality among human beings is simply inevitable. If society is to function properly, it doesn’t make sense to attempt to eliminate those things because they will always exist.
In Attack On Titan, we see this society first hand. Classes are separate

The Philosophy of Atomic Blonde
Based on Sam Hart's graphic novel The Coldest City, Atomic Blonde covers the tumultuous weeks and days when Eastern Germany suddenly went from ghastly prison state to being open to the West, the final result of a vast movement of resistance from the people below. The wall fell but it was more than that, it was a new way of thinking about politics at the end of the Cold War: from controlled to free in the blink of an eye. All punching and shooting aside, Atomic Blonde does capture the breakneck pacing of the period, a time when events unfolded faster than the news media could cover them. Many thought that the Cold War, that had been going on f

The Philosophy of Assassin's Creed
The Assassins kill for freedom and the Templars kill for power, though both sides want peace.
As the creed says "Nothing is true. Everything is permitted." Wouldn't that apply to the creed as well? If "everything is permitted" then would the Templar's method for achieving world peace be wrong?
The Templars themselves also share this "nothing is true. Everything is permitted" mindset.
This phrase is borrowed from the book Alamut by Hassan to brainwash his disciples to control how they think and act. The villain Al Mualim from the first game is based on this guy. Al Mualim uses the apple to enslave the minds of Masyaf's inharitants, betrayin

The theme of the movie is libertarianism and non-violence.
Libertarianism
The main plot of the film is about private individuals taking actions to prevent the nefarious aims of state agents and state-sponsored rogue agents. The movie starts with Hank Pym confronting the late 80s version of Shield who have secretly been trying to duplicate his formula. This protest sets the tone of the film.
Scott Lang's crime were a vigilante act against corporation that had stolen money itself, wiring the money to the people they stole it from.
These are the tenets of libertarian political thought.
How we didn't Pym and Lang just call the Avengers? Well

Introduction
In 1979, Ridley Scott's Alien reimagined a classic horror scenario while adding new ingredients to a rich tradition in story telling. The sequel James Cameron's Aliens shifted the focus to full blown action. The series spawned another two sequels, two crossovers with Predator and two prequels, continuing the mix of violent action and brooding horror.
Yet it also touches on the philosophical and scientific issues of reproductive rights, the right to live, the status of artificial intelligence and the relationship between genetics and freedom. But the biggest main themes are capitalism and motherhood.
